Kids don't need much of an excuse on a hot sunny day to jump into the water, but a film camera certainly sparks a bit of extra effort. A film crew from Good Earth Productions Inc., producers of the show "HistoryLands" were at Jones Falls doing an interview when a family showed up for a swim.
With the interview over, it was a good opportunity to take a couple shots of the fun people have enjoying the Rideau today. For the kids, it is the attraction of the cool, clear water, not the fact that the blocks of stone they are jumping from were laid in place 170 years ago.
