WICKENDEN. A mailing list for the discussion and sharing of information regarding the Wickenden surname in any place and at any time. You must be a subscriber to post to the list.

To subscribe send the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) as the only text in the body of a message to wickenden-l-request@rootsweb.com (mail mode) or wickenden-d-request@rootsweb.com (digest mode).

A mailing list is "broadcast email" Any message that gets sent to the list is sent out (as email) to all the subscribers to that list. ":Mail mode" allows you to get each individual message as it is sent. "Digest mode" compiles together a day's worth of messages and sends them to you as a single email (cuts down on the volume of email for a busy list).
