| A (large) working model of Davis Lock drew the attention of quite a number of children (and their parents). The model was put on display by Friends of the Rideau. Here Pat Watson is demonstrating to an interested group exactly how the locks work. Drought conditions are not a problem with the model, a garden hose was used to fill Opinicon Lake to the required navigation level. |
