| Turles have been on this earth for a very long time - and this Snapping turtle looks like it just stepped out of the Cretaceous. This young female Snapping turtle was in search of a place to lay her eggs. It is about the only time they leave the water and about the only time you'll ever come " face to face" with this interesting turtle. |
