The Rideau is home to all sorts of boats, but the loveliest are often the older vessels which exhibit classic sleek lines. In this case it is the "Rideau Prowler," moored at Jones Falls. Every year the "Ottawa International Antique and Classic Boat Show," most recently held at the Long Island lockstation (near Manotick), features acres of glistening mahogany.
