Knick Knack Shoreline photo by: Ken Watson, 2001 |
It looks like there is someone on the Rideau with more time on their hands than me. This lawn in the southern Rideau is populated by all sorts of strange things, not the least of which is an incredibly detailed model of a stone mill. It is sights like this that make every turn of a Rideau trip interesting. Not far from this place is an undisturbed marshy inlet with herons and ducks. It is this varied shoreline, from full natural to fully developed that adds interest to a Rideau voyage. |
