| The top picture is looking south (downstream) into Opinicon Lake. Lots of tie up space and beautiful manicured lawns are a hallmark of Rideau lockstations. The old Chaffey's Mill (a private residence) is visible to the right. The lower two pictures both look north (upstream), the one on the left, the entrance to Chaffey's Lock, the one of the right is inside lock, looking at the canal cut to the north. |
