| The first warm days of spring bring the turtles out to bask. In this case a group of Common Map Turtles enjoy the warm rays of the April sun. The Rideau is a haven for turtles, you can find them at every turn. They are shy though, so you have to sneak up on them. You'll find them on their favourite basking rocks and logs from ice break up in April until October. |
