| Known locally as a "wolf" this is most likely a coyote. I say most likely since there is a (very slight) possibility it could be an Eastern Wolf (a crossbreed between grey wolf and coyote) or the rare Red Wolf (which is about the size of a coyote). My apologies for the photo quality but it was snowing, I was shooting handheld through trees and the "wolf" was about 500 feet away from me.
