The Rideau often offers up the unexpected, in this case, a trio of Trumpeter Swans at Narrows Lock. Looking at these beautiful birds makes it feel almost like summer, even though it's still the middle of winter. Trumpeter Swans are an extirpated native species to the Rideau, they were re-introducted in the 1990s. |
