These are still photos put together using "pan and scan" into short video presentations. The first set is a look at each lockstation and the waters between it and the next lockstation. It's just a taste of the Rideau - an idea of what you might see when you travel these sections.
The links on the right side of this page will take you to a page with a bigger version of the above - a window to YouTube with the video. Simply click on the start arrow button in the centre of the video to start it running.
The menu along the bottom of the video will (from left to right) allow you to start or pause the video, adjust the volume of the music, adjust the resolution at which the video is playing (only shown when the video starts to play - see below), take you to YouTube to watch the video there or view the video full screen.
The only real "trick", is that on the pages with the larger size video you'll get an option to see the video in 720p HD (the highest resolution these videos will go). The videos default to 360p and the option to go to a higher (480p or 720p) or lower resolution will only appear once the video starts to play.
Once the video starts to play, clicking on the YouTube quality icon will give you the options shown above - you can select 480p or 720p at that point .
